IDW- From BleedingCool:  Hot rumor out of San Diego Comic Con is that IDW Publishing might lose the license to publish "Transformers" comic books.

DC COMICS - From DCBlog:  Just in time for the release of the new hardcover collection, writer Donovan Morgan Grant looks at "The Other History of the DC Universe."

COMICS - From BleedingCool:   Launching next year, Fictional Frontiers is a Muslim-focused creative collective, starting with a subscription-based digital platform for comics, prose, poetry and video content. Fictional Frontiers states that it will be an incubator for talents and narratives from or inspired by the Muslim World.  They announced the first two comic books.  They are "Beyond The Forest" by Noor Yusuf, Tati Nuari and Anny Maulina and "Modal," written by Ink and Hack, drawn by Dedy Koerniawan

COMICS - From BleedingCool:  The birthplace of the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will be commemorated by The City Council of Dover, New Hampshire.

MARVEL - From BleedingCool:  Ho Che Anderson that his upcoming Marvel Comics title, "Luke Cage: City on Fire," has been cancelled ... for now.

MOVIE REVIEW - From IReadsYou:  Leroy's review of "Eternals."

DC TV - From DCBlog:  Actor Joivan Wade, who plays "Cyborg" on HBO Max's "Doom Patrol" series, talks about the character's changes in Season Three of the series.

DARK HORSE - From ScreenRant:  Nearly seven years after it lost its license to produce Star Wars comic books, publisher Dark Horse Comics will once again publish "Star Wars" all-ages comic books and graphic novels set in all story era and timelines.  The first titles arrive Spring 2022.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH - From GamesRadar:    "Marvel's Voices: Legacy #1" will bring together Black creators and characters in February 2022 to celebrate "Black History Month," which is observed in the US all month long. 

From GamesRadar:   For Black History Month 2022, DC Comics will pair Milestone Media superheroes with real life Black historical figures in the 96-page anthology graphic novel, "Milestones in History."

DC COMICS - From TheBeat:   February 2022 will see a new ongoing "Aquaman" comic book series that will feature two Aquaman characters, classic Arthur Curry and new Jackson Hyde.

IMAGE COMICS - From BleedingCool:  Blacklisted (by Marvel?) creator Sina Grace will have a one-shot comic book, "Rockstar and Softboy," published by Image Comics in Feb. 2022.

MARVEL - From BleedingCool:  Legendary Marvel Comics and X-Men writer-artist, John Byrne, offers his own "origin of Wolverine."

MARVEL STUDIOS - From Variety:  The second trailer for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" has arrived.

MARVEL - From BleedingCool:  Marvel Comics is bringing back its "What If...?" comic book series in March 2022.

From BleedingCool:  When "What If...?" comes back it will ask "What If... Miles Morales was Captain America?"

MARVEL STUDIOS - From CBR:  "Ant-Man" star Paul Rudd is coy when answering rumors that Bill Murray will appear in the franchise's third film, "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania."

DC COMICS - From GamesRadar:  "Superman: Son of Kal-El #5" will have a second printing.  This is the issue in which Jon Kent comes out as bisexual.

MARVEL - From GamesRadar:  Marvel Comics' new "Sorcerer Supreme," whoever that will be, will have his or her own ongoing series starting March 2022.

MARVEL - GoCollect:  In Feb. 2022, Spider-Man meets his newest villain, "Goblin Queen," in The Amazing Spider-Man #88."

DC ANIMATION - From DCComics:  "Superman: The Animated Series" is 25 years old, and stars Tim Daly, Dana Delany, Clancy Brown and voice director Andrea Romano reminisce about their time on the series.

DC COMICS - From DCComics:  In a "Beyond the Panel interview, artist Dustin Nguyen talks about his new miniseries, "Robin and Batman."

MARVEL STUDIOS - From Deadline:   On "Disney+ Day," Disney dropped a lengthy piece of never-before-seen footage toward the end of its presentation with a look at its coming 2022 Marvel series — "Moon Knight," "She-Hulk," and "Ms. Marvel" — as well as great chase scene from the upcoming series "Hawkeye" which debuts on November 24th.

From IGN:   "Disney+ Day" offers a first look at Samuel L. Jackson as "Nick Fury" in Marvel Studios "Secret Invasion" TV series.

DC COMICS - From Polygon:   Mary Marvel will wield the power of Shazam in "The New Champion of Shazam!," a new four-issue miniseries from writer Josie Campbell and fan-favorite Shazam artist Evan “Doc” Shaner.

MARVEL - From BleedingCool:  Marvel has released a video trailer for the first issue of its new Avengers comic book series, "Avengers Forever #1."  It is written by Jason Aaron and drawn by Aaron Kuder.  This article also features four pages of interior art from the first issue.

MARVEL TO TV - From THR:  Actor Nicholas Hammond, who played Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the late 1970s CBS TV series, "The Amazing Spider-Man" (1977-79), said that he was not approached to appear in Sony/Marvel's upcoming "Spider-Man: No Way Home," but he wanted to be.

MARVEL STUDIOS - From CBR:  "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" actress Letitia Wright ("Shuri") is not vaccinated for COVID-19.  This may cause further delays in the production of the sequel to 2018's Oscar-winning, "Black Panther."

DC CINEMA - From EW: Actor Jared Leto purportedly gave out disgusting gives to fellow "Suicide Squad" actors as he worked to get in character as the Joker.  Now, he says the stories about the gifts was "in jest."

MANGA TO FILM - From Variety:  The “One Piece” live-action series at Netflix has cast five of its main rolesIñaki Godoy will play series lead "Monkey D. Luffy;" Mackenyu will play "Roronoa Zoro;" Emily Rudd will play "Nami;" Jacob Romero Gibson will play "Usopp;" and Taz Skylar will play "Sanji" will all star in the series.  All the characters are members of the Straw Hat Pirates, the protagonists of the series.

MARVEL - From Marvel:   Marvel announces Strong Guy, Forge, Tempo, Boom-Boom, Marrow, Armor, Cannonball, Sunspot. Banshee. Earlier this year, these X-Men characters were choices in the mega popular "X-Men Vote." Now, they spring into action in "Secret X-Men #1," a one-shot comic book due Feb. 2022.

MARVEL STUDIOS - From BoxOfficeMojo:  Marvel Studios' latest release, "Eternals," wins the 11/5 to 11/7/2021 weekend box office with an estimated take of $71 million.

DC CINEMA - From CBR:  "Eternals" director Chloe Zhao talks about the influence of director Zack Snyder's Superman film, "The Man of Steel," and suddenly "Zack Snyder is the Blueprint" is trending.

IMAGE COMICS - From BleedingCoolShadowHawk, created by Jim Valentino and one of the founding Image Comics characters, is returning for the publisher's 30th anniversary in "ShadowHawk 30th Anniversary Special."

DC ANIMATION - From DCBlog:  This article talks about the three-episode, HBO Max animated series, "Aquaman: King of Atlantis."

MILESTONE - From DCUniverse:  Here is the application page for "The Milestone Initiative."

EUROCOMICS TO FILM - From Deadline:  Oscar winner Taika Waititi has announced that he will adapt the graphic novel, "The Incal," from writer Alejandro Jodorowsky and artist Moebius, to film.

DC COMICS - From BleedingCool:  Writer Ram V and artist Mike Perkins' current "Swamp Thing" series was to end at issue #10, but DC is extending it into a "second season."

EUROCOMICS - From BleedingCool:  Hexagon Comics has two graphic novels this month, which can be bought directly from them.

LGBTQ - From BleedingCool:  Mariko Tamaki's LGBTQ imprint, "Surely Books" (via Abrams ComicArts), announces eight graphic novels for 2022 and 2023.

MARVEL - From TheBeat:  "How to Create Comic Books the Marvel Way" written by Mark Waid drops July 2022.

BOOKS - From Variety:  The U.S. Department of Justice has filed an anti-trust lawsuit to keep ViacomCBS from its book publishing division, Simon & Schuster, to Germany's Bertelsmann, which already owns Pengruin Random House, which distributes Marvel's comic books.

COMICS TO ANIMATION - From Variety:  Fox's Tubi streaming service has acquired the rights to "The Freak Brothers," the animated series based on Gilbert Shelton's legendary Underground Comix series.  The first two episodes will debut Sun., Nov. 14th.

IMAGE COMICS - From TheBeat:   Image Comics workers have announced the formation of a union, Comic Book Workers United, and launched a website.
