I posted the review at the Comic Book Bin. This is the paperback edition of the hit 2007 hardcover. A memoir/graphic novel by Marisa Acocella Marchetto, Cancer Vixen details Marchetto's 2004-05 breast cancer ordeal. The book is all the more relevant now because Marchetto had lost her health insurance just prior to her diagnosis. She couldn't get new coverage because of her "pre-existing condition," until she got married and fell under her husband's apparently gold-plated insurance. In the beginning, Marchetto had to pay out of pocket - with the help of friends and family...
